EXPLORE HAMILTON

This is the 3rdtime this year we have used your company at 3 different locations and I have to say we have been really impressed with the consistently high standard of staff and quality of rentals you provide. It was interesting to add that while we were waiting for our pick up Roger ambled over to a competitor counter to see what a little run about would cost for the day, try $120!!

Thanks RaD Tauranga. Great service - great vehicle. From the team at Impact Gymsport Academy

Thanks guys you're an absolute dream to deal with! We will be using RaD next time I'm in NZ.

Explore the Hamilton Region

Hamilton is the centre of the Waikato District, built alongside the mighty Waikato River.
The sprawling Hamilton Gardens which features elaborate themed gardens is just one of 145 parks in the area. Hamilton’s Museum boasts a great collection of Maori art and artefacts with the Arts Post gallery next door championing local art. Hamilton is home to the National Agricultural Fieldays, the largest agricultural trade show in the Southern Hemisphere.
Driving out from Hamilton you can discover the diversity of the Waikato region. Head to Raglan on the west coast with its black sand beach and relaxed bohemian vibe it is a great place to chill out. Superb waves, a rugged coastline, funky café’s and arty shops makes this a great place to spend a day or two or even just the afternoon.
Back inland, Waitomo offers an awesome natural wonder. With ancient cave systems, 25-million-year-old limestone fossils, glow worm caves and underground waterfalls it is not to be missed. There are options to explore the hidden gems of the area on any budget. It is not far from Hamilton to Middle-Earth, visit the town of Matamata where the Hobbiton movie set is just up the road.
For a little rejuvenation you can head in your RaD Car Hire rental car towards the western edge of the Kaimai Ranges where you can relax in the 100year old mineral spas of Te Aroha. Hamilton is also the best place to head off from to explore the spectacular Coromandel which with its stunning beaches, and natural hideaways is a must visit.
