All our RaD Car Hire Dunedin child seats are replaced on a regular basis so we guarantee child safety. Just let us know the age and weight of your child and we’ll install the correct seat in the vehicle ready to go.
GPS Units – If you’re not familiar with the surroundings then a GPS unit is a thing to have. Just plug it in, type in where you want to go and it will lead you there. It can even tell you roughly how long the trip should take you and estimated time of arrival.
Snow Chains - We recommend hiring snow chains during the winter time as you never know when it will snow especially through Central Otago. Snow chains and Instructions are placed in the boot ready to go. The Instructions include a step by step guide on how to fit them securely without causing damage to the vehicle.
Ski & Snow Board Racks – If you plan on heading up the mountain to do some skiing or snowboarding, then hire one of our racks to help transport your gear. Just let us know how many skis/boards you will be taking and we’ll configure the racks to suit. The racks will be installed on the vehicle ready to go when you pick up. All racks must be pre-ordered – please note not all our vehicles are rack compatible so give us a call and we can advise the best one for you.
