Rad Car Hire Nelson

At RaD Car Hire Nelson we pride ourselves on our friendly personalized rental car service. We work hard to make the experience of car hire easy and efficient.

Our phones are manned from 0730 to 1900 in the winter and 0730 to 2000 in the summer. Every day of the year with exception of Christmas Day but we can still organise for you to collect your car at Nelson airport on that day; don’t hesitate to call Derek, Sue, Karyn, Kevin or Barbara. One of us will personally meet and greet you at Nelson Airport and take you to your rental vehicle from our private parking not far from Nelson's Terminal building.

We also offer a car collection and drop service for Nelson Hotels and Motels inside the CBD including the Monaco Resort.

Not only do we operate a new and very nearly new rental fleet of cars RaD Car Hire Nelson also operates Nelson & Marlborough’s largest rental car fleet of Toyota HiAce Coach built 12 seat Minibuses. All the vehicle seats are fitted with individual 3 point seat belts, headrests and each hire car has twin aircon/heating systems for your comfort.

Luggage, Bike Trailers, Bike Racks, Child Seats and GPS Units are also available for hire at reasonable rates if required.

We also operate 8 seat MPV‘s (Multi Purpose Vehicles) the IMAX and Kia Carnivals version has a huge capacity for luggage and will carry all of you in comfort and style on your travels around the beautiful Nelson region and beyond.

Longer hires with a very attractive rate are our specialty and we offer a one way car hire system when vehicles are available.
